Privacy policy
Introduction
This policy explains what information Top 3 Priorities: Daily To Do ("the app") handles and where it goes. The app is made by Winton Gee ("we" or "us"). In short: there is no account, no analytics and no server of ours. Your tasks stay on your iPhone, in the app's own storage. The only data that leaves the device is purchase information, handled by RevenueCat and Apple: whether Pro is active, checked with an anonymous identifier, and your purchase when you buy Pro.
Information stored on your iPhone
The app stores the following in its own storage on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.
- Your tasks: each task's title and note, its reminder time, repeat rule and start date.
- Your plans: which tasks you picked for each day, their order, when you checked them off and any Later today snooze, used for Today and, with Pro, for history.
- Your settings: your morning pick time, default reminder time and theme.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications. The app schedules them on your iPhone, and iOS delivers them. No server sends them, and your task titles are not sent anywhere to create them.
Widgets
With Pro, the Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read today's three from storage the app shares with its widget on the same iPhone. Nothing is sent off the device to show them.
Purchases
Pro is sold through the App Store. These are the only third parties that receive data from the app, and only purchase information.
Apple sells Pro through the App Store and processes the payment. We never receive your payment details. Apple receives:
- Your purchase, under your Apple Account
The app does not send your tasks, plans or settings to Apple. For how Apple handles data, see its privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
The app uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases and to check whether Pro is active, including when the app opens. RevenueCat receives:
- Your purchase history and subscription status for this app
- An anonymous identifier the app creates on your device, which is not linked to your name or email
RevenueCat processes this data as our service provider and provides the same or equal protection of your data as this policy describes.
RevenueCat does not receive your tasks, plans or settings. For how RevenueCat handles data, see its privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Information we do not collect
- No account or sign-in
- No server of ours: your tasks are never sent to us
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising
- No contacts, location, photos or microphone
Keeping and deleting your data
- Delete a task: open it, tap Delete task and confirm. It leaves Today and Later, and its reminder stops.
- Delete everything: delete the app from your iPhone. This removes all the data it stored on the device.
- Purchase history: your purchase record with Apple and RevenueCat is tied to your Apple Account and stays after you delete the app, so you can restore Pro later. Purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide and restore Pro and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and RevenueCat records are deleted on request to us.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. If you think a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
